WHAT WE DO

 

Our club meets monthly usually during the months of September to May. At these meetings we socialize and discuss various topical issues and plan activities. We also have monthly luncheons with speakers on various topics of interest. We facilitate panel discussions and movies which address issues of concern to us all, such as health care, education and taxation.

During election years, we normally staff an office with volunteers who support Democratic campaigns of various candidates and provide support to the Democratic Party via a call center, door-to-door canvassing in our 'Get Out The Vote' efforts, inviting candidates to speak to our Club and the public, and assist in voter registration.

During the holiday season we hold a Brunch which is usually attended by Democrats from the State and National level. In the summer, our Club picnic provides another opportunity to meet, socialize and listen to candidates.
